Puerto Rican pop star Chayanne mixes R&B-inspired ballads, tropical pop songs and more club-oriented dance music. His self-titled debut album appeared on Sony in 1988, and though his early work was quite light and fluffy (even for Latin pop), later albums like Influencias and Volver A Nacer tightened up the material and production values. Atado a Tu Amor followed in 1998.
